AEW is known for bringing in some pretty wild celebrities for guest spots. They had Shaquille O’Neal on for a pretty damn good match with Cody Rhodes when he was signed with the company. Now, it appears, that they’re bringing in Dennis Rodman in for a spot on this week’s episode of AEW: Collision. The show emanates from the United Center in Chicago. That’s notable because Rodman played some of his best basketball for the Chicago Bulls.

It’s also important because CM Punk might not make the show due to an actual suspension stemming from an incident between him and Jack Perry at their All In event last weekend.

This isn’t the first appearance that Rodman has made on Wrestling programs before. He famously competed in three pay-per-view matches in WCW in the ’90s. He was also a member of the group nWo during his WCW stint. Here’s what AEW wrote about his appearance.

“What will happen when the unpredictable @NBA Hall Of Famer #theWorm @dennisrodman returns to the @UnitedCenter, TOMORROW when Saturday Night #AEWCollision is LIVE from Chicago?!? Don’t miss Saturday Night Collision LIVE!8pm ET/7pm CT on @tntdrama!”

Dennis Rodman is also part of the annual Starrcast VI event in Chicago this weekend.

Here’s what is announced for the Saturday Collision show.

  • Ricky Starks to challenge Ricky Steamboat to a strap match at All Out
  • Dax Harwood vs. Jay White
  • World Trios Champions Max Caster, Anthony Bowens & Billy Gunn defend against Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard & Angelo Parker
  • Saraya, Toni Storm & Ruby Soho vs. Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander
  • Dennis Rodman appears
