A dark new chapter begins in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Check out the new gameplay reveal trailer for the upcoming game from Sledgehammer Games that releases on November 10th, 2023. It’ll be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The open play beta starts on October 12th through October 16th, 2023. PlayStation owners will have an exclusive beta period from October 6th through October 10th.

The game serves as a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, which is the first time in the series’ history that they’ll be doing a sequel back-to-back. According to Activision, both Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have worked together in tandem to create a blockbuster sequel in the Modern Warfare universe.

If you loved Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 from 2009, you’re in luck. Every single multiplayer map from that game will be in this game.

  • Highrise
  • Terminal
  • Rust
  • Estate
  • Quarry
  • Scrapyard
  • Favela
  • Sub Base
  • Wasteland
  • Afghan
  • Underpass
  • Invasion
  • Karachi
  • Skidrow
  • Rundown
  • Derail

There’ll also be a zombies mode in the game in addition to the campaign.

If you love Call of Duty, this is always the most hopeful time of the year. A new game means the old one must go by the wayside. Modern Warfare II might be a pretty-looking game, but it was some warts. Let’s hope Sledgehammer can take it home and give us a great game.
