Star Wars: Ewan McGregor Reflects On Stepping Into The Role Of Obi-Wan Kenobi

The highly anticipated release of the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series is just over a week away and fans can’t wait. Well to add more to the excitement about this series Star Wars has just released a clip of Ewan McGregor looking back to when he first stepped into the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Starring Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie The Obi-Wan Kenobi series will debut on Disney+ on May 27th, 2022. OBI-WAN KENOBI

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. 

The series also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. 

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” is executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and Joby Harold.
