It’s been a long while for fans of Helloween to see the band. Between various delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some fans have had tickets for their United Forces tour for up to three years. For fans in Frankfurt, Kempten, and Zurich, they’ll be seeing the band without lead singer Michael Kiske. The co-frontman of the band is sick with inflammation in his middle ear. The band announced via Twitter that instead of postponing the shows again, they’ll be hitting the road for these three dates without Michael Kiske. In his place, Kai Hansen and Andi Deris will have to pick up more of the slack.

If you don’t know, Helloween has three lead singers that sing throughout their live shows now. Andi Deris and Michael Kiske share vocal duties for most of the show. It’ll be interesting to see if they change up their live show from the normal setlist they’ve been running with on the United Forces tour.

Helloween released their self-titled album Helloween last year to massive acclaim. You can read our review of it below.

We hope for a speedy recovery for Michael and for him to return to the band in no time. You can see Helloween on the road in Europe and in the US starting in 2023 for the United Forces North American Tour 2023.
