Armor Wars was announced at the Disney Investor’s Meeting last year, and we really haven’t heard much about it since. The new show, which follows Don Cheadle‘s James Rhodes, doesn’t have many details. Variety is reporting that writer Yassir Lester is the head writer for the upcoming Disney+ Marvel series. Cheadle and Lester both star in the show Black Monday. He also has writing credits on Girls, Kenan, and The Carmichael Show. Here’s the early synopsis for the show from Marvel.
Don Cheadle returns as James Rhodes (aka War Machine) in a story based on the classic Marvel comic series. He must face what happens when Tony Stark’s tech falls into the wrong hands.
