Of all things, a LEGO set accidentally spoiled us on a new Spider-Man suit. The upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home is the talk of the town with rumblings online of a trailer for the film and how far reaching its plot could be. The film picks up where Far From Home left off, with Peter Parker’s identity revealed to the entire world.
We don’t have many official details on the plot for the film, but we do know that Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange is making an appearance. The official LEGO website showed off the new set tied to the film. The set, shows Peter and MJ at the Sanctum Sanctorum in New York with Wong and Doctor Strange. The packaging is really where the important stuff is though. It shows Spider-Man’s brand new suit.
The upcoming film is rumored to have wider-reaching ramifications for the Marvel universe as a whole. Some speculate that the two previous Spider-Man actors in Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are in the film, as a multiverse is opened up.
While LEGO sets aren’t usually the most accurate about plot details, this one seems small enough to likely happen in the film. Spider-Man: No Way Home releases in theaters December 17th, 2021.
