Warning: minor spoilers for the first episode of The Mandalorian, season 2. You were warned, partner.

Actor W. Earl Brown, who plays the unnamed alien barkeep in the first episode of The Mandalorian season 2, seems to be quite excited about being in Star Wars. At the very least, he seems to quite taken with being reunited with his costars from Deadwood. And Baby Yoda. Who doesn’t love the little guy?

Apparently, W. Earl Brown has been sitting on this role for over a year. Dang, Disney really plans ahead, don’t they? It’s no wonder that the instant the first episode for The Mandalorian season 2 premiered, Brown opened the floodgates on Twitter to talk about his experiences working on that episode.

Yep, you read it. His love of Star Wars trumped his hatred for special effects makeup. Go figure, or rather, go inner Star Wars nerd. The story doesn’t end there though.

Yes, Banthas are cute, aren’t they?

Fluffy/hairy bantha.
Can’t decide if I want to pet it or not.

Sure, they’re just alien bison, but even W. Earl Brown can’t deny that they have a certain Appa-like appeal to them. Albeit, they’re Appa without the ability to fly and after a really bad fur day. Still though, when you’re feeling down, there’s nothing like looking at a bantha for some laughs.

Save when cocksuckers are involved, as he mentions further in his Tweets.

Unfortunately, Disney execs does not appear to like either improv acts or cocksuckers, because their answer to that simple request was a resounding:

And yes, Baby Yoda is an adorable little bugger, ain’t he? If even a battle-hardened barkeep from the wild, wild west could have his heart melt at the sight of Baby Yoda, you can imagine his effect on the rest of us.

Conclusion

Turns out, W. Earl Brown has a love for Star Wars that overcame his hatred for special effects makeup. He also misses acting alongside Timothy Olyphant and his other costars from Deadwood, and really misses being able to say “cocksucker” on live TV. Lastly, Brown also isn’t immune to Baby Yoda’s charms. No one is. At least, no one with a beating heart and a working sense of empathy.

You can see for yourself just how cute Baby Yoda is on Disney+. Especially now that the second season of The Mandalorian has premiered.
