Directors cuts seem to be becoming a returning fad in Hollywood. Ever since the confirmation of the Snyder Cut of Justice League, various directors have come out saying that they would love to see the original cut of their movie as well. One of the most high profile was director David Ayer saying a directors cut of his movie Suicide Squad would be easy to complete. Like Justice League, it’s well known that Suicide Squad was heavily altered in the editing room.
Following this, star Ryan Reynolds has thrown his hat into the ring as well. Reynolds said he would love to make an appearance in Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League. He then shared a video showing the 2011 Green Lantern crossing over with Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Here’s the secret Reynolds Cut of GL you all haven’t been waiting for. In order to make it as great as possible we made some judicious cuts. pic.twitter.com/B2tUelctr8

The video is simply a mass up of scenes from the 2011 Green Lantern movie and scenes from Justice League. Green Lantern was a critical and financial flop; and Reynolds has not been shy about poking fun at his past work. Both Deadpool and Deadpool 2 included tongue in cheek jabs at the movie.
Reynolds Loves To Troll His Fans
This isn’t the first time Reynolds has trolled fans like this. Reynolds tweeted a link that was supposed to be the full-version of Detective Pikachu. It was actually just an 80 minute video of Pikachu doing aerobics to techno music.
Reynolds is an actor who has fully embraced his most well-known role, Deadpool. Taking joy in posting and making good-natured jokes that make his fans laugh. One’s that more often than not are directed at himself than anything else. So, what do you think? Are you a fan of Reynolds’ trollish humor?
