All good stories start off with a great storyteller. With Dungeons and Dragons, all greats campaigns start with a great story and an even better storyteller. One perfect example is the highly rated D&D stream Critical Role.
Every Thursday, Voice Actor Matt Mercer takes his nerdy voice actor friends through an insane, and sometimes interesting, D&D adventure. Their current campaign started last January, but their first campaign is getting the animated treatment thanks to Titmouse Animation, and a very successful $11.3 million raised from their Kickstarter. When the Kickstarter has launched, it came with a pretty great video explaining how the Kickstarter was going to work.
