Disney officially announces the production of a new Percy Jackson TV series, coming to Disney+.

On May 14, 2020; Disney announces that they’re beginning production of a new live-action Percy Jackson TV series for Disney+. No release date is given, and there isn’t even a title for this new series. But rest assured, it’s in production.
Now, I know what all of you Percy Jackson & the Olympians fans are thinking: “But the live-action movies sucked!” Well, yes, this is true. Those movies were pretty unfaithful to the books, and were mediocre movies at best. Heck, the musical looks like it’s better than the movies. However, Disney appears to be fixing that. They’ve actually brought in Rick Riordan and his wife Becky into the team, and they will be involved in production “in person in every aspect of the show”.
This is a very exciting development. With the author himself so deeply involved in the new Percy Jackson series, there’s a really good chance that it will be faithful to the books. Since, you know, he wrote them. You can bet that this new series will have Percy Jackson’s offbeat humor in them, in addition to everything else about the book series that made them great.
Conclusion
